The latest news, rumours, opinions and updates about Liverpool defender Jeremie Frimpong from Rousing The Kop. Frimpong joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in May 2025. Arne Slot triggered his £30m release clause to bring the Netherlands international to Anfield.
Known for his pace, energy and attacking threat, Frimpong arrives at Liverpool having come through the Manchester City academy and won league titles with Celtic and Bayer Leverkusen.
Taking the No. 30 shirt for the Reds, Frimpong made his debut in the Community Shield match against Crystal Palace in August 2025, scoring with a cross-shot which floated over the head of goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
