Liverpool got back to winning ways against Wolves, with a well-fought 2-1 win in the Premier League.
Having suffered late derby disappointment midweek, the Reds bounced back thanks to goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.
It wasn’t a perfect performance by Liverpool by any means, with Jamie Carragher criticising the likes of Ibrahima Konate.
Arne Slot though will be happy with the three points but there will also be some cause for concern for the Dutchman as Alisson seemed to pick up a ‘knock’ in the first half.
This comes only days after Cody Gakpo picked up an injury against Everton in the Merseyside derby.

Arne Slot speaks on Cody Gakpo injury timeline
Gakpo recently won Liverpool’s POTM following a string of impressive performances in January.
Liverpool however were without their inform Dutchman against Wolves, with his Everton injury ruling him out.
With games against Aston Villa and Manchester City on the horizon, many Reds supporters have been left questioning whether Gakpo will be back for those crucial games.
Slot has since provided an update regarding the 25-year-old’s fitness, telling reporters after the Wolves game:
“Cody, he got a knock in the Everton game. A few of us got a knock but he got an injury. It’s under debate if he’ll be ready for Wednesday. It’s fast Wednesday already, so let’s wait and see, it wasn’t a soft knock.”
Luis Diaz shows he can step up to the plate for Liverpool
With Gakpo absent from the Liverpool squad, Slot would hand a start to Diaz on the left-hand flank.
The Colombian would go on to repay his manager’s faith by grabbing the first goal of the game, also winning his side a penalty later on in the first half.
Liverpool fans praised Diaz’s Anfield display and they will hope he can fill the void of Gakpo in the coming weeks.
Having gone ten games without either a goal or an assist prior to the Wolves game, it seems like Diaz is starting to step up for Liverpool when they need him most.
