Rousing The Kop provides all the latest news, opinion, interviews and updates on Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha.
The Reds signed Ngumoha as a 16-year-old after he opted not a sign contract with Chelsea in August 2024.
Rated as one of English football’s brightest talents, the youngster spent a season in the youth team at Anfield, making his debut as a surprise starter during an FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley in January 2025.
Having made a splash during the following pre-season, even better was to follow for Ngumoha in 2025/26, when he came off the bench to score on his Premier League debut with a last-gasp winning goal against Newcastle at St James’ Park.
From there, Ngumoha gradually became more important to a toiling Liverpool team, eventually earning a first senior England call-up for the Three Lions’ training camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
