Liverpool got back to winning ways but some performances perhaps went under the radar.
The Reds have finally stopped the rot and picked up their first win after four losses in a row, with it coming in emphatic style during a 5-1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt .
Arne Slot made a lot of changes, although he basically had to given how poor his side have been, with most of them appearing to work.
The likes of Florian Wirtz and Curtis Jones shone, with a lot of the players starting to get the credit they deserve.
However, there was one star who kept his place in the side who had yet another quietly good game, with former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher believing that he is not getting the plaudits that he should be.

Cody Gakpo shines for Liverpool once again
Slot made a lot of changes but one position he kept the same was at left wing, even if this was one of the areas that fans said needed a refresh.
But Slot stuck with Cody Gakpo again and it proved to be beneficial, with the Dutchman getting a goal and an assist.
Gakpo has faced criticism over some of his performances this season, although he is one of the players with the most goal involvements for the Reds so far this campaign.
Carragher also believes that he is far more important to the team than fans perhaps realise, suggesting that he might be the most underrated at the club.
“I should just mention Gakpo because he probably doesn’t get the praise other players get,” Carragher told CBS.
“He’s not a superstar but he consistently scores goals for Liverpool and he has done since he came to the club.”

The winger has seven goal involvements in 12 games already, suggesting that had he not been in the team, things could have been even worse at the beginning of this campaign.
Cody Gakpo’s work rate cannot be understated
Having all the talent in the world is one thing, but if a player does not have the work rate to match, then they will not succeed.
At Liverpool, this is even more important, but luckily for them, Gakpo has both in abundance and is a manager’s dream.
Unlike Mohamed Salah on the other side, the Dutchman’s work rate cannot be questioned and he helps out whoever is behind him as much as possible.
This was the same against Frankfurt and Andy Robertson certainly had a comfortable game because of it, proving how vital Gakpo is to the side.
