This summer will see major changes occur at Liverpool.
Arne Slot has done a tremendous job at Anfield this season as the Dutch coach is about to win the Premier League title at the first attempt, despite not being heavily backed in either transfer window he has been on Merseyside.
The amount the Reds can spend this season depends on the Liverpool futures of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk as both superstars have yet to pen new deals with the Premier League leaders with their current contracts expiring during the summer.
The most changes will likely come to the forward line as Darwin Nunez is expected to leave Liverpool, while Saudi Arabian clubs continue to monitor Luis Diaz’s situation at Anfield.
There is also doubt over another Reds star and despite Slot hinting that he could remain at Liverpool next season, that may not be the case.

Federico Chiesa’s situation is a win-win for Liverpool
Federico Chiesa was the only Liverpool player added to Slot’s squad this summer having joined from Juventus as part of a £12.5m deal and having not had a proper pre-season, in addition to suffering fitness issues, the Italian star has struggled at Anfield.
The winger has only received 395 minutes of action and has yet to start a Premier League game for the Reds, yet despite this, Slot hinted last week that Cheisa could remain at Liverpool next season.
The Italian has shown signs of improvement over the last few weeks but the Liverpool Echo’s Ian Doyle believes this may not be enough to keep him at the Premier League leaders and he wouldn’t be surprised to see the 27-year-old return to Italy at the end of the season.
“In truth, the Italy international is only likely to be given a look-in this campaign should the Premier League title be assured early,” Doyle said on Chiesa starting a game for Liverpool. “But surely the forward has done enough to at least merit more minutes from the bench regardless.
“Come the summer, though, it would be a surprise if Chiesa isn’t lured back to Italy with a number of Serie A teams said to be courting his signature. Should he leave a Premier League winner and with Liverpool gaining a small profit, nobody could complain too much.”
Chiesa was wanted by Napoli, Inter Milan and Lazio in January, however, the Italian hopes to remain at Liverpool until his 2028 contract expires.

Federico Chiesa wants to stay at Liverpool
Despite rumours of a Liverpool exit, all the signs point towards Cheisa wanting to remain at Anfield next season.
Recently, Chiesa’s father stated that his son is happy at Liverpool and that the winger is ‘doing great’ on Merseyside despite not playing much.
This came after reports that said Chiesa is ‘madly in love’ with playing for Liverpool, which indicates that he wants to become a success at Anfield over the coming years.
It remains uncertain what the future holds for the Italian as it could go both ways this summer. The 27-year-old could be a useful asset with a proper pre-season behind him, but that remains in Slot’s hands, as the Dutch coach gets to see the winger in action every day.
