Liverpool are set for a busy summer in 2025.
The previous two transfer windows have been very quiet for the Merseyside club with Federico Chiesa being the only Liverpool signing added to the squad for the current campaign.
Having assessed his squad across a full season, Arne Slot will know exactly what he needs to add ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and the Merseyside club are set to back their Dutch coach in order to remain on top.
Jamie Carragher wants a left-sided defender added to Liverpool’s squad this summer and that is a position highly tipped to be added to
Liverpool have several targets and the Reds have been informed that it will take £42m to bring one of them to Anfield.

Fulham inform Liverpool Antonee Robinson’s asking price
Andy Robertson looks set to stay at Liverpool next season with Kostas Tsimikas’ time at Anfield looking to be coming towards its end.
To replace the Greek star, Liverpool have been linked to Fulham’s Antonee Robinson as the Merseyside club want someone who can immediately compete with Robertson for a starting berth.
A new report from CaughtOffside states that Liverpool are showing the strongest interest in the left-back and that the Reds are preparing to offer around £29m (€35m) to Fulham.
The London club are likely to reject this as the Cottagers will seek a fee closer to £42m for the United States international.
Robinson is a player Carragher is a fan of, with the Sky Sports pundit left impressed by the 27-year-old when facing Liverpool back in December.
This asking price is likely to turn Liverpool off of a deal, therefore, the Premier League leaders may seek another option in the Engish top flight.

Milos Kerkez is a better left-back option for Liverpool
Milos Kerkez is expected to leave Bournemouth at the end of the season after impressing at the Vitality Stadium since joining the Cherries in 2023.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Liverpool are among the interested parties as the Reds continue to look for Robertson’s successor.
Liverpool have shown long-term interest in Kerkez as the Hungarian star ticks a lot of boxes. The full-back has a very similar playing style to Robertson and being only 21, the defender has a lot more room to develop further under Slot.
This gives Kerkez an advantage over Robinson, who is 27, as the Merseyside club would be more inclined to pay a bigger fee for the younger player as they can still recoup it further down the line.
This situation will develop further over the coming weeks but it is becoming certain that a new left-back is on its way to Anfield.
