Liverpool avoided a late scare to overcome Wolves in a 2-1 win at Anfield.
After seeing Arsenal beat Leicester on Saturday, the Reds made sure to bounce back with three points of their own.
Liverpool however did not have it all their own way, with Jamie Carragher criticising the likes of Ibrahima Konate.
The Reds defence seemed to struggle with the Wolves attack at times, with one player, in particular, causing them a whole host of problems – something Virgil van Dijk was keen to highlight in his post-match interview.

Virgil van Dijk makes Matheus Cunha claim after Liverpool-Wolves win
Having cruised to a 2-0 advantage in the first half, Wolves started to give Liverpool more problems after half-time – pegging the Reds back in the 67th minute.
Matheus Cunha would be the man to give Wolves a lifeline, with his beautifully curved effort beating Alisson in the Reds net.
Speaking after the game, Van Dijk highlighted the threat of Cunha.
“Today showed at times that when we have the ball you can exploit it as well. Cunha was a danger man for them today we had to be aware of. Unfortunately, he scored but we kept them to that.
“I definitely give them credit for the way they went one-on-one most of the time and how they found the free man between the lines.
“At times we were sloppy as well and we couldn’t keep the ball as well as we can at times,” via BBC Sport.
Cunha proves Arne Slot right against Liverpool
Van Dijk hasn’t been the only Anfield star to praise the Wolves man in recent times, with Arne Slot labelling Cunha a ‘quality player’ in the lead-up to the game.
The Dutch boss told reports that Cunha had the tools to play for one of the top five teams in England – something which he showed against the Reds.
Liverpool have been told to sign Cunha, and they may in fact do so after his impressive performance at Anfield.
