Liverpool have found themselves in an incredible position heading into the business end of the season.
Life under Arne Slot has gone better than expected for the Merseyside club as the Reds currently sit top of the Premier League and Champions League tables while remaining in both domestic cup competitions.
Liverpool found themselves in a similar scenario under Jurgen Klopp in 2022 and last season, with talks of a quadruple starting to creep into conversations.

Steve Nicol would be happy with in trophy at Liverpool
The quadruple is almost impossible for Liverpool to achieve as there is a reason no club has done it before. The football calendar is designed to stop this from happening and it would take something truly special for it to occur this season.
Liverpool have put themselves in a position to achieve it heading into February and when asked if the Reds will win more than one trophy this season, Nicol struggled with his answer.
“Can you come back to me?” Nicol said has he struggled with the question on ESPN FC’s Extra Time. “I going to go one, the Premier League.
“Really and truly, that is the only one that really, really matters the most. I would take one and a half, if that was possible, but I will absolutely take one if it is the Premier League.”
Arne Slot’s men are in a great position to win the trophy Nicol and the majority of Reds supporters desire, while Jamie Carragher thinks Liverpool need a left-sided defender to get them over the line.
With four trophies on the line, what are silverware are Liverpool likely to pick up throughout the remainder of the season?
Can Liverpool win the quadruple this season?
The likelihood of winning the quadruple is low for Liverpool this season but it is also unlikely that the Reds will end the 2024/25 campaign without a trophy to show for their efforts.
The most likely is the Premier League as the Merseyside club currently find themselves six points clear of Arsenal with a game in hand, and the Gunners have not looked like anything special this season being Liverpool’s closest challengers.

Liverpool need to overturn a 1-0 deficit to Tottenham in their Carabao Cup semi-final tie, which Slot’s men are expected to do; however, if the Reds come through that, a very tough Newcastle side could be waiting for them in the final.
The Premier League leaders booked their place in the Last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday but everyone knows that a bit of luck is needed to be crowned European champions.
As for the FA Cup, Liverpool play Plymouth in the fourth round, but it is still early days in the competition to say how the Reds will fare.
Whatever happens, the rest of the season is set to be exciting from a Liverpool point of view, with the Anfield faithful hoping to see the Premier League trophy on Merseyside in May.
