Liverpool are still one of the clubs active in the market on transfer deadline day – although it mainly looks like outgoings for Arne Slot.
For Liverpool fans, it’s been a rather underwhelming Friday night, with Arne Slot seemingly finished with his transfer business at Anfield.
After Liverpool secured the signature of Federico Chiesa – it looked like FSG have shut up shop for the summer.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still departures to be had. A few Liverpool players could still be on the way out, so here – Rousing the Kop brings you the latest surrounding the Reds on deadline day.

Ben Doak edging close to Middlesbrough loan move
Highly rated Liverpool academy prospect Ben Doak was wanted by two Championship clubs – with Hull City and Middlesbrough ‘pushing hard’ for his signature.
Now, it appears Boro have fended off fellow the Tigers for the Scot’s services. His loan move is edging ever closer and should be confirmed before the 11 PM deadline.
This would be a good move for Doak, who is evidently ready for minutes in a senior squad – but won’t get that under Slot at Liverpool.
Kaide Gordon could be heading to Norwich
19-year-old Kaide Gordon could also be heading away on loan to the Championship – with Norwich sniffing around for his signature for the season.
The Liverpool Echo reports Gordon is on his way to his Canaries medical – so this deal should definitely be done in due time.
Despite making seven appearances for the Reds last season, he doesn’t appear to be in Slot’s plans – so a loan is the best thing for his development.
Joe Gomez decision made?
Joe Gomez looks to be staying at Anfield. After a summer of, will he stay or will he go? The decision has looks to have been made, although was it really a choice?
It bottles down to the simple fact, that there hasn’t been enough interest for the English defender. Things could change but Gomez has trained as normal today for the Reds ahead of Sunday’s trip to Old Trafford.
Nat Phillips to depart on loan again, he’s Derby county-bound
Nat Phillips looks set to be on the move once again. After spending last season on loan at both Celtic and Cardiff City – now Derby County look to be securing his services for the season.
His medical should be taking place right now, so add this to the list of Liverpool loans on deadline day. Exciting stuff.
