Liverpool have been one of the most inactive clubs in the summer transfer window, with time running out to make new signings.

The new Premier League season is approaching, with the Reds also set to return to the Champions League.

But new manager Arne Slot has been quiet in terms of signing new players, with the Dutchman seemingly content with his current squad.

He has, however, only just taken over from Jurgen Klopp, with Slot using the pre-season tour of the USA to assess his options.

Once Liverpool have returned to Merseyside, the new boss is likely to make serious moves in the transfer window.

“After 5 seasons at Juventus, 5 years in Turin, I want to say goodbye and thank you,” Rabiot wrote on Instagram.

“All of you who have been there for me. The club and all its staff. And you fans, always close and very affectionate! Thanks for everything Juventus. Goodbye and good luck.”

Is Adrien Rabiot heading to the Premier League this summer?

Rabiot now has a decision to make over his next club, with the 29-year-old now available on a free transfer.

Clubs should be jumping at the chance to sign the experienced midfielder, who boasts 48 caps for the France national team.

Moreover, he has won countless honours throughout his time at Juventus and former club Paris Saint-Germain.

The Reds should be in the race for the midfield ace, but Rabiot has reportedly picked Manchester United ahead of Liverpool.

But Slot shouldn’t give up on a move for the France star, who could undoubtedly strengthen the club’s midfield for the new season.
