Liverpool are reportedly expected to sell one highly-rated player this summer who is believed to already have an offer on the table.

The Reds have seen a number of their first-team members linked with moves way in the market, with Liverpool this week rejecting a bid from Olympique Marseille for Wataru Endo, who the Anfield side are eager to retain.

With Sepp van den Berg also subject to an approach from PSV Eindhoven, interest is there for some Liverpool players who could well be on the move this summer, with departures likely before the window shuts next month.

And the Reds are now expecting one name to leave for good this summer.

Nat Phillips set to leave Liverpool after Trabzonspor bid

According to the Athletic, Liverpool expect Nat Phillips to depart Anfield for good this summer, with the defender already subject to a £4m offer from Turkish side Trabzonspor in recent weeks.

With Fabrizio Romano also reporting that Phillips is likely to leave Liverpool, things could soon pick up surrounding the 27-year-old centre-back, who last season spent the year out on loan with Celtic and Cardiff City.

Once lauded by Jurgen Klopp as ‘incredible’ as per Sky Sports, Liverpool have struggled in the last two summers to find a new permanent home for Phillips, who has shown he can perform at the highest level in Europe.

Indeed, this summer feels like now or never for Liverpool to get a transfer fee for Phillips, and the Reds need to be hard at work in trying to find a new suitor for the defender, who deserves regular football away from Anfield.

Liverpool can find a buyer for Phillips in this window

Having made 26 appearances in all competitions last season, Phillips has played enough football in the last 12 months to show that he can do a job for a top club in the upcoming campaign.

And for Liverpool, they need to put their search for a buyer for Phillips into overdrive, with the defender in need of a new home having not played for the Reds since the 2022/23 season.

Phillips is approaching the peak of his career and needs to be at a club where he will be a regular, and it’s up to Liverpool to find that team for the centre-back, who will be eager to move on to kickstart his career once again.
