Liverpool reportedly have a stance in mind when it comes to selling Wataru Endo this summer with interest starting to snowball.
The Reds only signed the Japanese international last year in what was one of the more surprising deals of the summer, with Endo turning out to be quite the addition for Liverpool as the defensive midfielder made over 40 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
This summer, though, reports have emerged that Endo could leave Liverpool, with RTK exclusively revealing that the 31-year-old could return to Germany if an offer was to be made from a top Bundesliga side.
And Liverpool now seem to have their own stance on if they want to sell Endo this summer.

Liverpool not actively looking to sell Endo this summer
According to the Athletic, Liverpool are not looking to push Endo out of the club despite growing interest in the midfielder, with the Reds rejecting a £12m offer from Olympique Marseille in the Japanese star.
Having already lost Thiago Alcantara this summer, the thought of Liverpool losing another midfielder might be a hard problem for Arne Slot to solve, even if Endo was to go for a decent fee in the coming weeks.
As per the report, Endo is currently the only natural defensive midfielder in Liverpool’s squad, with a replacement needed if the former VfB Stuttgart star was to leave for a club like Marseille this summer.
And given how slow Liverpool have already been this window, the decision to keep hold of Endo for another year would be a smart one from the Reds, with the 31-year-old showing in the second-half of last season that he can be an important player for the Anfield side.

Reds would be foolish to sell Endo in this transfer window
Having only joined Liverpool 12 months ago, the prospect of selling Endo now would be nothing short of foolish from the Reds, especially with the Japanese international performing as well as he did in 2024.
Whilst a quick payday is tempting for Liverpool, the idea of selling Endo and then having to immediately find a replacement is one that the Reds might not be willing to do given the pace the Merseyside giants are working at this summer.
As a result, keeping hold of Endo is a must this window, with the former Bundesliga star still having a lot more to give after an impressive first year in the Premier League with Liverpool.
