It’s safe to sat that Liverpool fans have found themselves a newest hero from the academy.
Liverpool coaches have reportedly been convinced over the potential of young right-back Conor Bradley for quite some time. But now, supporters are really starting to see what all the fuss is about.
After excelling on his Premier League debut at the weekend, Bradley had another bite of the cherry against Fulham this evening. It was a big night for the 20-year-old up against veteran Willian. But Bradley more than held his own.
And taking to X during the game, Liverpool fans were unified in their amazement over the youngster.
Bradley takes his chance
By now, there should be no doubt that Bradley has what it takes to be a Liverpool player in the long-term.
The door opened up for him with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s injury, that’s true. But how often do we see young players come in and fail to take those kinds of chances.
Not Bradley, though. From his first minutes coming on against Arsenal, the Northern Irishman looked a cut above.
It’s clear just how much his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers helped him last season. That exposure to men’s football has given Bradley a fearlessness about his play.

By the looks of things Alexander-Arnold isn’t now far off a return. But while there was significant angst about his initial injury, Bradley has completely filled the void.
Tonight was perhaps his biggest test yet. Against a good Fulham side in a Carabao Cup semi-final, it had all the ingredients for a tough night at the office for Liverpool.
For Bradley specifically, Willian is always a tricky customer, while Antonee Robinson has done well enough to see links with a move to Liverpool emerge. But through it all, Conor stood up firm and looked a threat going forward, too.
Unfortunately, he was beaten a little too easily by Harry Wilson for the Fulham goal. But as a young player, those things will happen. Overall, a top night for Conor. So much to be excited about.
