Liverpool went 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table this evening. Jürgen Klopp’s men beat second placed Leicester City 4-0 at the King Power. It was a phenomenal performance by one of the greatest sides the world has seen this century. Up the Reds. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Leicester City.

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker – 7
Alisson was at his very best in Qatar and at his quietest this evening, he had nothing to do defensively but his distribution was on point.
Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 11
The Scouser in our team gets an 11 in our Liverpool player ratings v Leicester City for obvious reasons. Two assists and a bag more that could have been. His goal was well taken and thoroughly deserved. Phenomenal.
Centre back: Virgil van Dijk – 8
Jamie Vardy didn’t get a sniff all game. What a showing from Big Virg. At one point he backheel volleyed it to Henderson, it was silly.
Centre back: Joe Gomez – 8
JoGo is back with a bang. He won’t be out of this defence for a long time.
Left back: Andy Robertson – 8
Andy Robbo was relentless as ever. A dynamo.
Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson – 9
Jordan had one of the best games he’s had in ages. Just incredible; so composed, so alert.
Centre midfield: Naby Keita – 8
The Guinean midfielder is fast becoming undroppable, once again he was ghosting past defenders and picking killer balls.
Centre midfield: Gini Wijnaldum – 7
The Dutchman is untackleable, you simply cannot get the ball off him.
Right wing: Mo Salah – 8
The Egyptian King missed a few chances but he was alive all game, terrifying the Leicester City defence.
Striker: Bobby Firmino – 10
Bobby is back to his very best, his two goals were expertly taken and thoroughly deserved.
Left wing: Sadio Mane – 8
Sadio is made of batteries, the man doesn’t stop running. Another heart on the sleeve performance from the Senegalese forward.
