The latest news, rumours, opinions and updates about former Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold from Rousing The Kop. Alexander-Arnold signed with the Reds’ academy at the age of six and progressed through to win the complete set of major trophies before his 24th birthday.
Liverpool also named the Scouser as their vice-captain in July 2023 following the departure of Jordan Henderson. Alexander-Arnold earned the role as an essential figure in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
He has regularly been integral to the Reds’ creativity since Alexander-Arnold’s senior debut against Tottenham Hotspur in an EFL Cup tie at Anfield in October 2016. Klopp brought the Reds’ homegrown hero through from their youth ranks just 18 days after turning 18 years old. In 2025, after 20 years with Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold left to join Real Madrid for a fee of £8.4m rising to £10m.
