Mohamed Salah is looking for a new club when he leaves Liverpool this summer, and he has no shortage of suitors.

Saudi Arabia has been mentioned heavily, while Turkey, MLS and a return to Serie A have all been discussed as possible landing spots for the Egyptian.

Salah spent time in Italy with Fiorentina and Roma before arriving at Liverpool, and that could now be the direction of travel once again. Juventus are showing strong interest, with Luciano Spalletti seemingly keen to bring the 33-year-old to Turin.

Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has called Mohamed Salah about joining

The Italian giants are already looking at one Liverpool legend this summer. Alisson Becker is a top target for Juventus, with reports suggesting that personal terms have even been agreed ahead of a possible move.

That deal depends on whether Liverpool are willing to let their goalkeeper leave. Salah’s situation is different, because he is definitely heading for the exit.

According to TuttoSport, Spalletti is approaching former players ‘he’s gotten along with’. He was at the helm at Roma when Alisson and Salah were coming through.

The respect goes both ways. Salah credits him as the best coach he had in his career from a development perspective. The Juventus boss ‘will be open’ to bringing him in, if a return to Italy is what he wants.

Salah could earn a fortune outside Europe, but the sense around his future has always been that he still wants to compete at the highest level.

Juventus may not be the force they once were, but they remain one of the biggest clubs in Europe. If they can offer Salah Champions League football and the chance to return to a league where he already succeeded, it could become a very tempting option.
