Liverpool have already moved to protect themselves over Alisson Becker, but the noise around a possible exit has not gone away.
The Brazilian’s contract has been extended until June 2027, which means Liverpool still have control of the situation heading into the summer. Even so, Juventus have made Alisson a top target as they look to strengthen under Luciano Spalletti.
Alisson’s stance has long been understood as one of openness to entertaining offers, rather than actively forcing his way out. Now, though, the situation appears to have taken a significant step forward, with a move to Italy suddenly looking far more realistic than it did a few weeks ago.
Which goalkeeper has been better than Alisson in the Premier League era? 🧤⚽
Alisson Becker agrees personal terms with Juventus
According to Tuttosport, Alisson’s entourage are ‘working to reach a painless separation’ from Liverpool this summer.
The report claims Juventus already have an agreement in place with Alisson over a three-year contract.
Alisson is not just another senior player. He has been one of Liverpool’s most important signings of the modern era and remains one of the best goalkeepers in world football.
There is also an obvious Spalletti connection here. Alisson worked under the Italian at Roma before joining Liverpool, and that previous relationship has surely influenced his interest.

Still, Liverpool hold the cards. His contract now runs until 2027, so this is not a situation where the club are being forced into a cut-price sale.
The key question is whether any Juventus offer would be worth the loss of experience, leadership and elite quality. Giorgi Mamardashvili is waiting in the wings, and Liverpool clearly planned ahead when they signed him, but there are question marks around his preparedness.
Juventus also competing with Liverpool in the market
There is another interesting Liverpool angle in the same report.
Tuttosport suggest Juventus are also looking at defensive reinforcements, with Marcos Senesi and Joel Ordonez both mentioned.
Senesi has been on Liverpool’s radar, and the report claims the Reds currently have an advantage in that race.
Ordonez is another player Liverpool have long admired. The Club Brugge defender is viewed as one of the most promising young centre-backs in Europe, and Juventus are said to have talks open for him too.

Rumours of discontent at the Bernabeu 👀
On Alisson, though, the change feels significant.
In a matter of weeks, this has gone from a distant possibility to a realistic move. Liverpool may still decide the price is not worth the damage, but Juventus will do all they can to convince them otherwise.
