Questions are once again being asked about Arne Slot’s future at Liverpool on the back of the 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
After losing by the same scoreline to Manchester City before the November international break, Fabrizio Romano claimed the Reds were still backing Slot despite a poor run of results.
However, defeat to Nottingham Forest, who are fighting relegation this season, means Liverpool have now lost six of their last seven league games for only the second time since the 1953/54 campaign.
In turn, many supporters are now discussing who they want to come in should the Dutchman be given his marching orders.
Should Liverpool sack Arne Slot?
Liverpool fans like Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner
Taking to social media during and after Saturday’s tie, many supporters named Oliver Glasner as someone they would like to be their next manager after Slot.
One fan wrote: “Get me Glasner now and Guehi in January.”
“Should be going all out for Glasner, his contract runs out in the summer,” echoed a second.
Another tweeted: “Glasner should be one of the top names on our list get him in as soon as possible. Look at what a relegated Kompany is doing with good players imagine Glasner, so FSG trigger whatever clause you have to, to get him asap.”
When asked who they’d like to see come in if Liverpool changed their manager, a fourth responded: “Oliver Glasner. He’s done superbly at Palace and knows how to set up his team to defend and attack equally well. Also in the last 12 months of his contract.”
A fifth simply demanded: “Get Glasner in,” with a sixth sharing a similar verdict: “Get Glasner in #SlotOut.”
And another Liverpool fan urged the Crystal Palace boss to bring a couple of players with him to Anfield, writing: “Bring in Glasner and tell him [to] bring Guehi and Wharton with him.”

Will Liverpool sign Marc Guehi in January
Regardless of what actually happens in the Anfield dugout in the coming months, Liverpool fans want a centre-back signed.
Palace’s Marc Guehi has been linked for some time, and his name has once again been in the headlines this week.
The centre-back is due to become a free agent at the end of June, but there has been a suggestion that he could have interest long before next summer.
Those with knowledge of the situation inside Selhurst Park now believe that Liverpool could try to sign Guehi in January without any real competition.
