Liverpool finally lost their Premier League winning streak after getting beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Most fans thought that the Anfield outfit might have nicked a point from the game after Federico Chiesa’s late goal, but it seems like Eddie Nketiah had a different plan in his mind.
Oliver Glasner’s men were more than deserving winners, with the Eagles being the much better team throughout most of the clash.
Of course, Liverpool will feel a tad hard done by after conceding in the 98th minute when there were only six minutes of added time, but, at the end of the day, the final score is what counts, and on Saturday, it wasn’t in the Reds’ favour.

Many of Arne Slot’s men failed to perform to the standards expected of them, but Florian Wirtz had a particularly shocking game.
Michael Dawson dubs Florian Wirtz’s missed chance for Liverpool “really, really bad”
As mentioned, Wirtz performed rather poorly against Glasner’s men.
The 22-year-old was even used on the left wing by Slot to try something different, but it still didn’t give him the boost he clearly needs.
Many thought that Wirtz would be exactly what Liverpool needed to add some more creativity to their team, but the fact that he’s only contributed to one goal thus far says otherwise.
And, while live on Sky Sports News, Michael Dawson gave his thoughts on Wirtz’s missed chance towards the end of the second half.
“I wouldn’t say it was a great save, I’d say it was a really, really bad miss from Florian Wirtz,” he said.
“Good play from Szoboszlai, he’s playing at right-back but he plays so high, Szoboszlai, he doesn’t want to be defending, he wants to be in the opposition’s half.
“He chops in on his left foot, and he just puts this great ball in, takes all the defenders out.
“Florian Wirtz, right foot, he’s three yards out, all he has to do is put it either side of Henderson, but he hit it down into the ground and it’s straight above him.
“If it’s either side, it’s in the back of the net; however, it’s not.”

Florian Wirtz needs to figure out why he can’t find any sort of form at Liverpool
Although Liverpool have only lost two games across all competitions this season, it’s clear that more needs to come from Slot’s first-team squad.
In fact, their only defeats have come against Crystal Palace, with Ismaila Sarr once again being the Reds’ achilles heel.
With the amount of money that Liverpool spent on improving their ranks this term, you’d have expected them to be playing much better than they have been.
Wirtz’s lack of form has likely come as a shock to many, with most thinking that he was exactly what the Reds needed to improve their attack.
A bad run of form is acceptable, but when over £100million has been spent on a player, you’d expect to have at least got a goal or two out of them.
At the moment, it’s anyone’s guess why Wirtz can’t perform to the levels he showed at Bayer Leverkusen, but one thing is for sure: if he doesn’t figure out what’s wrong, he could be left sidelined for an extended period of time.
This would be far from ideal for everyone involved, especially since Liverpool spent a large chunk of their transfer budget on him this summer.
