Luis Diaz’s Liverpool future has been something that has dominated headlines for as long as many can remember.

Since the start of the summer transfer window, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have been interested in the Colombian, with a few bids already getting rejected.

However, as per a new report from German outlet Bild, it seems like the clubs are now edging closer to an agreement, even though Liverpool don’t want to sell.

And, that’s because the idea of a ‘sell on clause’ has been mooted, along with a much bigger bid than Bayern first offered, this way Liverpool would be able to profit even more money from Diaz’s move as, if a Saudi Pro League team made a bid, they’d get a cut of the money.

Crystal Palace have told Marc Guehi that they want to sell him this summer

Marc Guehi is a player who has been linked with an Anfield switch for the last month or so.

The centre-back is in the final year of his deal at Selhurst Park and with the World Cup just around the corner, he’ll want to have to best chance of being chosen.

And, even though there have been murmurs of the defender extending his stay with Palace, as per a report from Ben Jacobs, Steve Parish has told Guehi that he wants to sell him.

Palace are now set to “welcome bids” for their captain as they look to earn a fee worth around £45million for his services.

Alexander Isak has told Newcastle that he wants to explore his options amid Liverpool interest

Perhaps the biggest news of the day is that Alexander Isak has told Newcastle that he wants to explore his transfer options this summer.

Even though Liverpool have just confirmed the signing of Ekitike, there is still a chance that the Anfield outfit could make a move for Isak.

Craig Hope of the Daily Mail dropped this bombshell with a fee worth around £150million likely to be the fee it would cost to prise the Sweden international away from St James’ Park.

Of course, only time will tell what the rest of the window has in store but if Liverpool sell enough players, a move for Isak might not be too far away.
