Mohamed Salah reveals he has become more of a team player at Liverpool

Salah has always been a goalscoring machine since arriving at Anfield, this campaign however the Liverpool forward has taken it to a new level.

The Egyptian’s performances have garnered worldwide attention, with Salah even being tipped for the Ballon d’Or.

Speaking on his form this season, Salah revealed to TNT Sports that his new-found unselfishness has actually been the key to his success.

“So far I think this is my best season because I make the other players around me better. That’s what I feel. I want everyone to play good as you are not going to win the league alone, so you want other players to perform.

“I try to study their games and see what other players are like. In the past, I would just focus on myself more.”

Salah’s unselfish nature proved by the numbers

The 32-year-old’s newfound unselfishness is shown by his impressive assist tally (21) – with Salah tipped to break the assist record come May.
