Liverpool have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League, with a 2-0 win over Manchester City.
Having seen title rivals Arsenal drop points on Saturday, the Reds made sure they took advantage with a dominant display at the Etihad.
Arne Slot changed Liverpool’s formation and it worked a treat against the Citizens, with Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai securing the three points.
Salah’s goal in particular has earned widespread praise, with Liverpool fans loving the set-piece routine from Slot’s side.
Jamie Carragher is also a big fan of the goal, with the former Reds defender highlighting Szoboszlai’s role in the opener.

Jamie Carragher loves Dominik Szoboszlai’s set-piece assist against Man City
Liverpool haven’t enjoyed the best set-piece record so far this season with only three goals to their name prior to the Man City game.
It seems, however, like Slot and the Liverpool coaching staff have worked hard to address this, something Carragher has been keen to highlight.
Speaking on SkySports, the ex-Liverpool man would sing the praises of the set-piece – honing in Szoboszlai’s clever assist.
“That Szoboszlai touch is out of this world. But just watch Andy Robertson in that front post space. He blocks the frontman, Phil Foden I think it is, and it allows Szoboszlai to get in front. But that touch as is absolutely fantastic the weight on it is perfect.”
Szoboszlai steps up the plate vs Man City
Szoboszlai has been playing a new position in recent months, with the Hungarian tasked with playing a more forward role.
This was again on display at the Etihad, with the 24-year-old leading the Reds attack from midfield.
Szoboszlai was instrumental in both goals, scoring and also setting up Salah’s opener – his fifth assist of the season.
Harvey Elliot labelled Szoboszlai as ‘world-class’ back in December and you can’t argue with the Liverpool man if the Hungarian continues to provide performances like that more often.
