Liverpool are having to fend off interest in several players as the January transfer window ramps up.
The Reds look unlikely to do any real incoming business over the course of the next three weeks, but could yet see one or two leave.
For the moment, much of the talk has been around the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold. With Real Madrid pushing to sign Trent, it remains to be seen which way things will go.
There is also talk surrounding a move for Ben Doak. After Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town saw bids rejected for the Liverpool youngster, the Reds are standing firm on keeping Doak.
Finally, there has been near constant speculation over the Anfield future of Federico Chiesa.
Chiesa has been linked with a loan move back to Italy having played only four times during the first-half of the season at Liverpool. But after his agent shut down talk of an exit, it has now been revealed how Chiesa is really feeling.

Federico Chiesa ‘very much happy’ at Liverpool
Rewind to Saturday and there were reports in the French press that Chiesa had agreed terms with Napoli.
However, by Monday, Fali Ramadani – the 27-year-old’s agent – told 365scores that Chiesa would not be leaving Liverpool.
“The club has no intention of giving up on the player,” Ramadani said via Corriere dello Sport. “Federico is staying at Liverpool and is looking for the opportunity to play in the future. This is what I can confirm now .”
On the back of those comments, journalist David Lynch has shed a little more light into the mindsight of the rarely-seen Chiesa.

“On Chiesa it [letting him leave] wouldn’t have made sense to put this much work in, to put so much into getting him fit and ready to start games,” Lynch told Anfield Agenda.
“There’s real opportunities for him to get minutes now and he is fit and in training so it wouldn’t have made sense to push him out on-loan. And my understanding is he’s still very much happy at Liverpool and wanting to make this work now after a bit of a tricky start.”
Will Chiesa start against Tottenham?
With Chiesa’s short-term future finally put to bed, the hope will now be that he can actually start to make an impact at Liverpool.
There is little doubt that the Italian’s time at the club has been a failure so far, although that is not necessarily Chiesa’s fault.

As the cup competitions return, though, Liverpool fans will be desperate to get a proper look at their only summer signing.
The first of those cup games comes on Wednesday, as Liverpool face Tottenham in the Carabao Cup. It is a big game for the Reds – a semi-final no less – but Arne Slot will likely rotate his squad a fair bit.
It feels probable that Chiesa will play some part. However, given that he hasn’t featured at all for three weeks now, we’d suggest a role from the bench may be more likely for the Italy international. Onwards, though Fede, your time will come – perhaps against Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
