Liverpool fans are looking ahead to the January transfer window as a real chance to bolster their Premier League title push.
The Reds have drawn their past two league matches to see their lead at the top of the table cut to just two points.
Saturday’s 2-2 stalemate with Fulham at Anfield was the most galling of those dropped points, with many supporters pointing the finger at Andy Robertson.
Liverpool were already 1-0 down at the point Robertson clumsily brought down Harry Wilson and was given his marching orders.
But despite them being behind, had it stayed 11 vs 11, most would have still backed Liverpool to win.
Robertson’s sending off changed all of that and it’s fair to say that it wasn’t the first time the Scot has cost his team this season. Robertson has been criticised following the game with many now hoping Liverpool will bring in a replacement in January.

Will Liverpool replace Andy Robertson in January?
Had Saturday been a one-off, then you couldn’t begrudge it to Robertson. He has been a terrific player over his seven-and-a-bit years at Anfield. But, unfortunately. it was far from being an isolated incident.
As a result, suggestions that Liverpool are looking at left-backs for 2025 does not come as a surprise.
But according to journalist David Lynch, it remains unlikely that the Reds will panic and bring in a new addition in January.
“They’ll know that all teams have flaws in moments, not everything is perfect all the time and sometimes you do have to say ‘we’ll get through a season with these two left-backs and then address it’,” Lynch tells Anfield Agenda. “That’s kind of the mindset sometimes and all clubs are like this.”

“They’ll think they can definitely get enough out of these two left-backs when they’re both fit and available and they can rotate them to win a Premier League and a Champions League this season.
“I know at the moment it feels bad around Robertson and feels like he’s going to cost a lot of games this season,” adds the reporter. “But I still firmly believe you can win the top two trophies with these left-back options and I think Slot thinks that as well.”
“That’s why I think they’ll be more minded to wait until the summer to have a look at the left-back options, get a really good idea of who they want coming in there and then we’ll see movement on that front.
“Probably one of the two will be moving on, which I still think is probably more likely to be Kostas [Tsimikas].”
Who is top of Liverpool’s list?
If you ask Liverpool supporters who they would like to see replace Robertson when the time comes, there will likely be two or three answers.
In our opinion, the dream signing would still be Alphonso Davies. The Canadian looks set to be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Reports have claimed that Liverpool are in the conversation for Davies, but it still looks likely that he will end up at Real Madrid.
As a result, either Rayan Ait Nouri or Milos Kerkez would seem like more realistic targets.
Kerkez is a man in form and would look like someone who could rekindle Robertson’s output from his early years at the club. But whoever it is, it sounds like fans are going to have to be patient to see them arrive.
