Liverpool are no strangers to getting the most out of the loan system, with this season no exception.
Ben Doak has been a revelation at Middlesbrough this year, with the Liverpool teenager establishing himself as a key player for Michael Carrick’s promotion-chasing Championship side as well as finally breaking into the senior Scottish national team.
Although there is now talk that Liverpool could recall Kaide Gordon from his Norwich City loan spell, the Reds will feel proud of most of the business they did in the summer when it comes to shipping out their most promising talents for the season.
And one player who was loaned out earlier this year has caught the eye of his manager after scoring his first goal for the club.

Owen Beck lauded by Blackburn Rovers manager after first goal
Speaking to the press, Blackburn Rovers manager John Eustace was full of praise for on-loan Liverpool defender Owen Beck, who scored his first goal for the Lancashire side in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Luton Town.
With Arne Slot also impressed by what he’s seen from Beck at Blackburn, the 22-year-old left-back is creating quite some hype around himself in what is proving to be an incredibly productive loan spell at one of the biggest teams in the Championship.
And Eustace was buzzing for Beck this weekend after scoring his first goal for Blackburn, with the manager saying when asked about the defender’s performance: “I’m glad we did finish that move with a goal because it was a brilliant move.
“I am delighted for Beck and for Amario to get their first senior goals. We are very lucky to have him [Beck] here, he is a top, young player. His attitude is fantastic and he has good experience competing with him in Picks [Harry Pickering]. He’s growing and improving all the time.”

Beck could challenge for a spot at Liverpool next season
With Liverpool in the market to sign a new left-back next year, there’s a real chance that an unlikely name could come from out of nowhere to take the position for themselves if they can prove themself to Slot in the summer.
And with the year Beck is currently having at Blackburn, the Liverpool academy graduate will feel confident that he has a shot at becoming a part of Slot’s first-team plans if his loan spell at Ewood Park continues at its current trajectory.
Indeed, Beck has grown at a fantastic rate this season at Blackburn, and with Conor Bradley a member of the Liverpool first team after impressing out on loan in the EFL, his left-back counterpart could feel confident as well in making it to the big time under Slot in 2025.
