Liverpool must be pinching themselves at just how well things have gone since the summer exit of Jurgen Klopp.
Results had been expected to possibly take a downturn for the Reds after losing their legendary manager.
However, quite the opposite has happened so far. After 17 games of the Arne Slot era, Liverpool are top of both the Premier League and the Champions League.
15 wins from those matches is an extraordinary return and means that Slot has made the best start by any Premier League manager in the 32-year history of the competition.
Slot cannot take all of the credit alone, though. The new-look Liverpool coaching staff deserve a huge amount of credit, too.
Along with the boss, two of that team – Sipke Hulshoff and Ruben Peeters – joined from Feyenoord over the summer. And as the Liverpool head coach continues to build his team, another new face is set to arrive from Slot’s former club.

Roderick van der Ham all set to join Liverpool
There will be a time when things are more difficult for Liverpool, there’s no doubt about that.
But for the time being, the likes of Hulshoff, Peeters, John Heitinga and Aaron Briggs have settled in perfectly at Anfield.
There were claims that Liverpool were looking for a specialist set-piece coach before the season to compliment those already brought in.
However, while that search has not yet been rewarded with a new hire, Dutch outlet 1908.NL confirm that Feyenoord video analyst Roderick van der Ham is set to join Liverpool.

Van der Ham took to X on Monday to officially announce his departure from the Dutch Cup winners.
“Last week, my time at Feyenoord officially came to an end,” he says. “A huge thank you to all my colleagues and players for the memories we made together at this fantastic club! With hopes of creating even more unforgettable memories, it’s time to move on!”
While there’s no mention of the Reds in Van der Ham’s post, 1908.NL are in no doubt that Merseyside is his next destination.
Who is Roderick van der Ham?
Although the arrival of a new video analyst is unlikely to set too many pulses racing amongst the Liverpool support, this is still good to see.
Having worked with Slot for 95 games at Feyenoord, Van der Ham was clearly someone Slot felt he needed on his team at Anfield.
Despite being just 33, the coach already has experience at three different clubs in Dutch football.
Van der Ham joins Liverpool after working at Heracles Almelo and RKC Waalwijk as well as Feyenoord.
He perhaps won’t be someone we see on a day-to-day basis, but if he’s been important enough for Slot to poach from his former club, then this should be seen as a big positive for the Reds.
