Liverpool have brought through some top young players over the last couple of years.
The Reds have once again become well known as being a club with a clear pathway for youngsters to make it into the first-team.
Although Arne Slot has so far mainly utilised senior stars during his opening months as Liverpool head coach, that looks set to continue into the future.
One player who has benefitted from this pathway in the past has been Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold is the best player since Steven Gerrard to come through the Liverpool academy and is a perfect role model for the prospects attempting to break out today.
And according to Trent, one of those talents is shining more brightly than any of the others.
Trent Alexander-Arnold picks Conor Bradley
When Alexander-Arnold made his first-team debut in 2016, there were not many players coming up from the academy at all.
That is now a different story, with the Reds boasting some of the country’s best talent within their ranks.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Alexander-Arnold was asked to pick between four of these players to name Liverpool’s biggest ‘future star’.
Harvey Elliot, Ben Doak, Stefan Bajcetic and Conor Bradley were the quartet Trent had to choose between.

“I speak mostly to Conor obviously being in the same position,” said the right-back. “But I’ve seen Stefan from young how good he is and how much potential he has. Harvey as well, incredible.
“Ben Doak, again really young. The future star, Harvey’s injured so I’m going to have to go with Conor.”
“I like to play 90 minutes,” added Alexander-Arnold when asked how he feels about being substituted for Bradley. “But I know how good he is and I have trust in him to get the job done and to help the team win the game.”
When will Conor Bradley be back fit?
Bradley has quietly been involved a good amount under Slot this season.
After making his breakthrough last year, the Northern Ireland international has gone about establishing himself as Alexander-Arnold’s back-up.
But after featuring in six out of the first 10 games, Bradley has now gone down with an injury.
Having already missed games against Chelsea and RB Leipzig, there have been claims that Bradley could miss the next few weeks with a fitness problem.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game against Arsenal, however, Slot suggested that Bradley could be back in training on Saturday. Let’s hope that to be true, because the 21-year-old is real talent.
