Liverpool have had some wonderful players represent the club over the past eight years.
Of course, the Reds have had plenty of stars stretching back well further than that period and in the time since, too.
But Friday marked eight years since Trent Alexander-Arnold made his Liverpool debut and the defender has been looking back on some of his storied teammates from that near-decade.
Alexander-Arnold came into a team that was just beginning to purr under Jurgen Klopp, making his debut in a League Cup win over Tottenham on October the 25th 2016.
From there, Trent soon became a big player in the Liverpool squad and quickly saw the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and other key members of Klopp’s Liverpool arrive.
With his future now up in the air, it remains possible that Alexander-Arnold has played with every teammate he ever will at Anfield. If that is indeed the case, we now know who the right-back will see as his best ever Liverpool colleagues.

Trent Alexander-Arnold names ‘two greatest’ teammates
If this season is to be the end of Alexander-Arnold’s career at Liverpool, then he can certainly look back on it with a huge amount of pride.
After coming through the Liverpool academy, the Scouser has won just about everything with the Reds, becoming a key part of one of the best teams in Liverpool history.
While he himself has been a big figure in this trophy-laden period, he would be unlikely to get many supporters’ vote for the main man.
Those votes are more likely to go to Van Dijk or Salah and speaking to Sky Sports on Friday, Alexander-Arnold confirmed that he sees that gigantic pair as the greatest he’s ever played alongside.

“Virg and Mo I would say are the two greatest players I’ve played with,” said the 26-year-old.
Interestingly, Alexander-Arnold also gave a nod to the recently departed Thiago Alcantara, who he deems to be a ‘beautiful footballer.’
“Alongside the likes of Thiago,” he added. “Thiago was a beautiful football player.”
Trent inches towards Liverpool exit with Ballon d’Or claim?
As Alexander-Arnold’s contract winds down, some will still be optimistic that he will renew, others will be growing to accept that he will not.
Judging by other comments he made during this interview with Sky, the clues are perhaps starting to mount up that he’s on his way out.
Asked to choose between captaining Liverpool, winning the Champions League again, lifting a trophy with England or being named as the Ballon d’Or winner, Alexander-Arnold chooses the latter.
“I’ve already captained Liverpool, technically I have already,” said the No.66. “I would want to be Liverpool captain but it’s not my decision, so that can’t really be in there.”
With Real Madrid players about a million times more likely to win any Ballon d’Or, this sounded a little ominous to be truthful.
