Liverpool supporters will be thrilled when the club announce the signature of Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
Chiesa has agreed to join Liverpool, with the 26-year-old Italian international set to sign for €13million (£10.95million) plus add-ons.
The attacker will join Liverpool on a four-year deal, and could arrive in time to play against Manchester United on Sunday.
Chiesa undertook his Liverpool medical after arriving in England, with the Italian certain to be warmly welcomed by the Anfield faithful.
It remains to be seen what role Arne Slot has in mind for Chiesa, who made 131 appearances for Serie A giants Juventus.

Chiesa should become a key player under Slot, with his salary certainly indicating that, with the attacker set to earn between €6million and €7million per season at Anfield, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
What role will Federico Chiesa play at Arne Slot?
Chiesa has an impressive track record for club and country, having won a handful of titles with Juventus and Euro 2020 with Italy.
The forward, who can play anywhere across the front line, was also named in the Team of the Tournament four years ago.

But he won’t find it easy to get into Slot’s Liverpool attack, with Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota all starting the season brightly.
Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez meanwhile are also competing for starting spots, although those should open up somewhat when the other competitions come into play.
Liverpool certainly need a big squad that boasts plenty of talent if they are to shine in the likes of the Premier League and Champions League, and the signature of Chiesa will certainly help towards that goal.
