Liverpool have a lot to get sorted as the transfer window enters its final two weeks.
The Reds have been exceptionally quiet during the summer so far but are now having to make some decisions over their squad.
Not only has it been a low-key period in terms of incomings, but Liverpool have also been slow to sell of some players who may be surplus to requirements.
That hasn’t stopped the rumours from coming, though. After running the rule over everyone in pre-season, it seems as though Arne Slot could still sell off a good few of the Liverpool squad.
Most of the sales seems likely to come through academy players or those on the very fringes of the team. However, there could still be one big departure, with Luis Diaz subject to interest from Barcelona.

Barcelona eyeing Luis Diaz bid
Diaz made an excellent first impression under Slot during Sunday’s win over Sevilla. The Colombian scored twice in his first appearance for the new head coach.
Despite that, there remains a feeling that Liverpool could look to upgrade on Diaz during what is left of the summer window.
Although it doesn’t appear as though the Reds are actively looking to sell the 27-year-old, there have been reports that Liverpool could sell Diaz if a big bid comes in.
Right from the get-go, the team seen as the most likely suitors have been Barcelona.
And Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo now report that Barca have identified Diaz as the player they want the most if their push to sign Nico Williams fails to come off, as looks probable.

The big wigs at the Catalan club are said to have given ‘consensus’ that Liverpool’s No.7 would be the best option if Williams won’t join from Athletic Bilbao.
Barca are claimed to be ‘aware’ that Diaz is a long time fan of the club and have reportedly set aside £47-51m in order to sign him.
However, this would supposedly not be enough to tempt Liverpool into selling the former Porto man.
The Reds are said to be looking for a minimum of £53m to entertain a sale and that could lead to Barca being outpriced.
No reason for Liverpool to sell Luis Diaz
Had Barca come in with an offer in the realms of the numbers being mentioned by Mundo Deportivo at an early stage of the summer, then maybe this would have been worth doing.
Liverpool could have then pushed harder to sign Anthony Gordon, for example, and would have a new-look attack going into the season.
But with so little time in which to source a replacement for Diaz, we just don’t see how it is worth it for Liverpool.
Injury free and on the back of a good Copa America with Colombia, Lucho could go up a level or two under Slot.
If Barca get serious and offer something that Liverpool see as reasonable, then we could still see a world in which Diaz is sold. But that simply doesn’t sound like happening any time soon.
