Conor Bradley deserves to start for Liverpool
One player that must, however, be considered for a starting role is Conor Bradley, despite making just 11 league appearances last season.
The right-back has enjoyed a rapid rise on Merseyside, with Jurgen Klopp handing him 12 more appearances elsewhere last season.

But Bradley particularly shone in the Premier League, with the 21-year-old chipping in with one goal and three assists.
The Northern Ireland defender grew in confidence as the season progressed, while he has also matured thanks to his starring role in the national team.
Despite his age, Bradley is already a key player for Michael O’Neill’s Northern Ireland side, having already scored three international goals.
What will Arne Slot do with Conor Bradley and Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Bradley was recently labelled ‘fantastic’ by national media, with the defender now certain to have his sights set on regular football at club level.
His time on the pitch was massively impacted by various injuries last season, while he was also often competing for a right-back spot with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Slot would be foolish to remove the latter from the starting XI completely, particularly with Real Madrid in pursuit of the England star.
But pushing Alexander-Arnold into midfield could be an option for the new boss, which would allow him and Bradley to start together.
Gary McAllister says Bradley looks ‘totally different’ in pre-season, with the young right-back seemingly having worked hard to improve his physical attributes ahead of the new season.
