Liverpool and Manchester City have enjoyed a fierce rivalry in recent years, with the two clubs playing out many exciting battles.
Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp often took centre stage, with Arne Slot now replacing the latter in the rivalry between the English outfits.
One player who also played a key role over the years was Jordan Henderson, who captained Liverpool in many of their games against Man City.
He led the Reds to Premier League success in the 2019/20 season, as well as Champions League glory in 2018/19, with Henderson recently getting in touch with his former teammate Adam Lallana, who also lifted those trophies.
But the midfielder then left for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq last summer, before completing a move to Ajax in January.

Jordan Henderson changes his mind about Man City star Rodri
The 34-year-old is currently in pre-season training with the Dutch club, and was asked on the official Ajax Instagram account to name his preferred Ballon d’Or winner.

Henderson initially replied: “Rodri,” but stated shortly after: “I just want to change my answer… is that alright, can I change? Bellingham.”
Will Man City and Spain star Rodri win the 2024 Ballon d’Or?
Rodri has been a huge success for Man City, having joined Guardiola’s setup from Atletico Madrid for a club record £62.8million in 2019.
The midfielder now boasts over 250 appearances for the Manchester club, helping them to countless trophies.

When absent, it is clear just how much Man City miss the 28-year-old, who has just guided Spain to Euro 2024 glory.
Former Liverpool captain Henderson is clearly a fan of his fellow midfielder, but he instead wants fellow Englishman Jude Bellingham to clinch the Ballon d’Or.
He helped Real Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League last season, but so did Vinicius Jr, who many other Ajax players believe deserves the prestigious award this year.
The English midfielder is close with one current Reds ace, with Bellingham reacting to Trent Alexander-Arnold after his penalty for England against Switzerland at Euro 2024.
