Tyler Morton has lauded Harvey Elliott after the Liverpool midfielder scored a stunning goal for England’s U-21s last night.
Taking to Instagram, the youngster praised his midfield and now international teammate as a ‘joy to watch’ as Elliott secured a 3-0 win for the Young Three Lions against Serbia.
Morton was this month named in England’s U-21s for the first time this month after enjoying an impressive loan spell with Hull City, and reuniting with Elliott has clearly had its perks.

This isn’t even the first time the 21-year-old has praised the former Fulham wonderkid on social media, with Elliott and Morton drumming up quite the friendship in recent years.
Indeed, the pair now playing together for England at youth level could have good long-term effects for Liverpool heading into 2024.
And Morton’s praise for Elliott shows just how much the two seem to rate one-another, with the duo on course to star for Liverpool and now England in the years to come.
Morton and Elliott will want to thrive with Liverpool and England

Whilst Morton is yet to really make that step into becoming a regular at Liverpool, it’s clear that the talented midfield is on his way to becoming just that.
Having now been named in England’s U-21s, the on-loan Hull star has the platform needed to take his career further, with Elliott no doubt alongside him to help him make the leap.
And after this international break, the plan could now be in motion for both Morton and Elliott to thrive for club and country, something the duo will want nothing more going into next year.
If Morton continues to impress at Hull, there’s no telling how far the midfielder can go, especially with Jurgen Klopp already a fan of the youngster.
