‘Game changer’: Tyler Morton very impressed by 20-year-old Liverpool youngster vs Luton yesterday

Tyler Morton has lauded Harvey Elliott on Instagram after the Liverpool midfielder’s assist for Luis Diaz secured a point for the Reds away to Luton Town.

Taking to the social media platform, the 21-year-old midfielder praised the England youth international as a ‘game changer’ as Elliott once again impacted the game positively from the bench.

Elliott was introduced with just over 20 minutes to go as Liverpool fell behind against Luton, with defeat looking like a certainty having struggled all match.

However, the 20-year-old midfielder changed the game yet again from the bench, with Elliott providing a superb cross for Diaz as the Colombian international headed home a late equaliser.

Indeed, Elliott enjoyed a similar impact against Everton last month having started the game as a substitute, and the midfielder’s growing role could become a real weapon for Liverpool.

Liverpool are no strangers to having a super-sub or two in their squad, with Divock Origi arguably te most famous in recent years.

And Elliott is now slowly becoming a similar player, with the midfielder’s impact from the bench that is now becoming something that is hard to ignore.

Whilst the youngster rather be starting from the off, Elliott’s role as a game-changer from the wings is a asset few clubs can afford, and Liverpool need to maximise what they now have in the youngster.
