Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a second push to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 16-year-old Palmeiras star has been at the centre of heavy speculation in recent times. Alongside the Reds, the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City have been touted with interest.
However, taking to an interview with Canal do Nicola, the youngster’s father revealed the Brazilian club had received their first and only proposal from a French giant.
“Paris Saint-Germain are the only club that opened negotiations with Palmeiras with an official proposal, as things stand,” Endrick’s father said.
“There are many clubs from different countries keen on signing him. PSG have already moved.”
Following this, Romano has now shared an update on Endrick’s transfer situation with the Ligue 1 outfit, claiming the side are expected to make a second bid to secure the wonderkid’s services.
PSG pushing for Liverpool target Endrick
Over the past month, Endrick has been rumoured with a number of moves – the majority of which seem to have Liverpool ruled out as a favourite.
Recently it was suggested that Madrid were the frontrunner in the race to land his signature, but the player’s father ended up putting these rumours to bed with a public denial.
Just two weeks ago, Sky Sports reported Chelsea were hosting the teenager’s family at the side’s training ground, as they hoped to convince the Palmeiras starlet into signing for them.
Now, it is all about PSG. Unfortunately correlated between each of these suitors, the Reds are vastly out-powered financially.
These clubs have incredible transfer budgets, and they never seem afraid to splash huge money on relatively unknown and unproven talents.
Whilst Liverpool will be lurking behind a potential swoop, the loss of sporting director Julian Ward at the end of the season may throw prospective transfers into the air.
Therefore, news of another approach by PSG comes as a major blow for Liverpool, who now seem even further down in the race to sign the ‘Brazilian star’.
