Latest Liverpool transfer rumours

This summer the Reds have been linked with all and sundry.

This is because there is plenty to fix within the squad.

For instance, Jürgen Klopp is short of an out and out striker.

Roberto Firmino has been a world class false nine but we’ve now seen the need for a proper finisher to come into the side.

Furthermore, the departure of Gini Wijnaldum has left the side light in the midfield.

Raphinha, Coutinho and Tielemans: The signings Liverpool could make this summer

As a result rumours of Liverpool signing Florian Neuhaus have persisted, along with links to Youri Tielemans and Yves Bissouma.

In terms of attacking options there has been reports of interest in Raphinha, Donyell Malen and Dusan Vlahovic to name but a few.

Liverpool transfer rumours dismissed

Kopites had been getting excited about this transfer window. This is because many have seen this summer as a time for real change.

However, the Liverpool ECHO has reported that the club is happy with the current squad.

The report has dismissed current Liverpool transfer rumours, claiming that if the Reds sell off some depth in Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi the club won’t look to sign replacements.

The Reds allegedly have ‘no intention’ of signing any attacking players.

What RTK has to say

We don’t buy this for a second.

Not for a second. This would confirm the fans’ worst fears about FSG’s spending intentions.

We’ve seen reports for months that the club are desperate to bring in a forward over the summer.

They simply have to if they want to ease the burden on Mo Salah.

Furthermore, last season’s injury crisis has shown us how long term absences can completely derail a season, a knock for the Egyptian King could scupper our chances.
