Liverpool are going to sign a forward this summer. The Reds need to add goals to the front line and one way of doing that is increasing the quality in depth at the club. According to a report in The Mirror, Liverpool could use Harry Wilson in a deal for Raphinha.
Liverpool need a forward
This season we saw a startling lack of quality in depth in the front line.
Divock Origi isn’t up to the task and Xherdan Shaqiri didn’t impress when given his chances.
Diogo Jota was out for a large chunk of the season but he was a real success story aside from his fitness issues.
We need to bring in another forward in order to add strength in depth.
At the moment the front three are being run into the ground as we can’t afford to rest them.
Harry Wilson and Raphinha link
Liverpool have been persistently linked with a move for Raphinha.
Metro recently reported on the Reds’ interest in the winger Leeds paid £17m for last October.
He impressed during his debut season in England, netting six and assisting nine.
According to a report in The Mirror, Liverpool could use Harry Wilson to land Raphinha.
The outlet has relayed claims that the Yorkshire club hold an interest in the Reds’ winger.
Their interest is understandable, he’s had another stellar season for club and country. Roy Keane labelled Wilson ‘outstanding’ after an impressive goal for Wales this term.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Raphinha using Harry Wilson would be a helluva move.
Wilson would fit in at Leeds and we are desperate for Raphinha.
This could be a move which would work all parties involved.
