Liverpool are in the market for a striker this summer. The Reds have been short of goals in recent weeks and months and that needs correcting. Liverpool are interested in Dusan Vlahovic. Stevan Jovetic has backed the striker to be one of the greatest in the world.

Remember Stevan Jovetic?
Now 31-years old and playing up top for Monaco, Stevan Jovetic was once one of the hottest prospects in Europe.
The Montenegro star rose to prominence playing for Fiorentina following a switch from Partizan.
After five seasons with La Viola he was snapped up by Manchester City.
However, he failed to make an impact in the Premier League and made just 30 league appearances for the Citizens.
Following a temporary move to Inter Milan the Serie A giants signed him permanently in 2016.
Jovetic on Liverpool target Dusan Vlahovic
According to Inside Futbol, Liverpool are in advanced talks about signing Dusan Vlahovic.
The Fiorentina striker banged in 21 goals in Serie A this term, not a bad tally given that he only turned 21-years-old in January.
Steven Jovetic has heaped praise on Vlahovic, Football Italia quote the Monaco man as saying:
“[Vlahovic] will be the best striker of the next few years with Erling Haaland. So potentially, he is ready for Juventus, but the most important thing is to get consistent playing time when you are as young as him.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool will have done their due diligence on Vlahovic.
If they think he’s what we need then we could well see him at Anfield next season.
Given his young age he could be an incredible signing if he lives up to the hype.
Only time will tell who Michael Edwards has selected to lead the line next season.
