Two more players could join Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson in leaving Liverpool during the summer of 2026.
Recent days have seen talk about Federico Chiesa securing a summer move amid his lack of game time.
Elsewhere, Alisson to Juventus is an ongoing saga, and alongside the Brazilian, Fabrizio Romano has said that Curtis Jones is happy to leave.
What would you do with Curtis Jones this summer?
Curtis Jones open to Liverpool exit
Speaking on his YouTube channel this week, Romano explained: “The same applies to Curtis Jones. Curtis Jones is a name I mentioned both in January and especially in recent weeks, and now I see it circulating everywhere. I can tell you that the player’s openness is similar to the Alisson situation, although clearly with a different age and different competitive prospects.
“Alisson’s case depends on the meeting with Liverpool. Curtis Jones’ situation, meanwhile, is about valuation. Why? Because Curtis Jones has given full openness to the Inter project. He would like the idea of coming to play in Italy. Curtis Jones already wanted Inter in January, but Liverpool understandably made their own evaluations and decided what to do.
He continued: “So Liverpool will obviously have the freedom to decide how much to ask for Curtis Jones. Inter are there, there are also English clubs involved, but the player’s openness to Inter is an important factor that should not be underestimated. Then of course the financial aspect will determine the rest. So pay attention to these two situations.”

Liverpool warned against Curtis Jones leaving
In 2025/26, Jones has lost his place as a starting midfielder despite Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch having to feature in most matches.
It is a problem area for Liverpool, who lack quality depth, but Adam Wharton is an option for the summer alongside two more players.
Despite potential reinforcements arriving in the upcoming window, though, Jermaine Pennant thinks Jones should stay.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool star Neil Mellor praised the midfielder’s versatility and compared him to Elliot Anderson.
He said: “He is capable [of playing right-back], because he’s a clever football player and he has that intelligence in his brain to be able to play in that position.
“On the ball, I think he reads the game very well. When you look at stats, and stats are a big part of the game, I think Anderson of Nottingham Forest is outstanding at winning the ball back. This fella is as good at that.”
Jones has impressed as a makeshift full-back recently, though it remains to be seen if he’d be happy to remain in that role for another year.
