The boring nature of Liverpool’s game under Arne Slot has pushed fans to their limit on Friday evening.

The Dutchman took his side to Molineux for the second time in the space of a week, this time in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Liverpool were called boring when the pair met in the Premier League on Tuesday, and though the play was slightly quicker at times, it was much of the same in the cup, and fans have been calling for Slot to be dismissed.

Liverpool fans want Arne Slot sacked as ‘boring’ football continues vs Wolves

It’s not the results that supporters seem to have an issue with, but instead, it is the ‘boring’ nature of ‘Slot-ball’ that is on display on a weekly basis.

One fan wrote: “Please, FSG, sack Arne Slot already. I can’t even watch a Liverpool game without dozing off.”

Another echoed: “Liverpool have become so boring under Slot, sack him already.”

“This is Slot ball… Sack him, please. I’m dying of boredom…” stated a third.

A fourth commented: “Sack Slot immediately, nothing has changed from the last game.”

“Slot has made me dread watching my team,” added another Liverpool fan.

While a sixth wrote: “Falling asleep..Slot ball so boring man,” and another stated: “I cannot do another season of Slot ball, this is worse than Rodgers, extremely grateful for the title season (thank you Mo) but this can’t go on.”

Will Liverpool actually sack Arne Slot?

Earlier this season, there was talk of an interim manager coming to Liverpool to see out the campaign.

However, we are now in March, and the Dutchman is looking likely to remain in charge for the rest of 2025/26.

But Jamie Carragher is among those to suggest Slot may be sacked without Champions League football this term.

The Reds are currently outside of the top five after losing to Wolves earlier this week.

Meanwhile, one reporter did hear that Slot will go in the summer, no matter what happens in 2025/26.

For the time being, however, fans probably shouldn’t expect a change in the dugout for a while.
