Arne Slot is under a little bit of pressure after losing yet another game in charge.
The Reds have entered uncharted territory as they have now lost four Premier League games on the bounce, and there are no signs of improvement.
Brentford played them off the park on Saturday evening and, if anything, Liverpool were lucky that the scoreline flattered them.
For Slot, he has even more things to think about as his problems continue to mount up, with the Dutchman perhaps starting to feel the heat.
However, there is one thing he can do that would certainly solve a few big issues, with this needing to be his next step if he is to get Liverpool back on track.
Liverpool need to go back to a 4-3-3 formation
When Slot came in last season and took over from Jurgen Klopp, the transition was seamless and everything seemed to work perfectly.
One reason for this is because he did not change too much and kept the same players and system, with the only thing he altered being how much control they had in possession.
However, since welcoming all the new signings, Slot has switched the formation and system massively, with it simply not working.
Playing with a number 10 has made the team very unbalanced, with the midfield far too open and being exposed after just a few passes.
So, going back to a ‘flatter’ midfield three might prove beneficial so they can regain some control in the middle of the park, something Ally McCoist also thinks they should do.

“Sometimes when you’re struggling, you have to revert back to the good old days,” he told TNT Sports.
“Luckily the good old days were only last year, so just play four at the back, three midfielders and three forwards. They look all over the place at the minute.”
Florian Wirtz might be an issue
Signing Florian Wirtz looked like an absolute coup at the time, but with the Reds having issues due to having to play an out-and-out number 10, it may have actually backfired.
This is one of the reasons they are far too open, with Joe Cole also believing that Wirtz’s introduction has impacted the balance of the team.
“Things are tight in terms of Liverpool’s title defence,” Cole told TNT Sports.
“We all backed them at the start of the season. They had improved their squad, buying Florian Wirtz who was the best player in Germany, but there is no balance in their team right now.
“They were beautifully balanced last year. There was nobody counter-attacking on them and set pieces weren’t a problem, so they need to go back to the tried and tested for a few weeks.”
