Marc Guehi’s agent has held a meeting with Bayern Munich ahead of a potential move in the summer.
The centre-back has a long list of suitors lined up for him after Liverpool missed out on signing Guehi on deadline day.
Despite his medical being done and an exit video from Palace even being filmed, Steve Parish chose to keep his club captain around due to the Eagles taking part in their first European campaign.

And, even though the Reds were willing to pay £35million for Guehi in the summer, an Anfield switch isn’t guaranteed now with Bayern, Real Madrid and even Manchester City interested in the centre-back.
Florian Plettenberg says Max Eberl has held a meeting with Guehi’s agent
There’s no hiding from the fact that the centre-back market is going to be an interesting one this summer.
Players such as Guehi and Dayot Upamecano are able to leave their clubs for free this summer, with several teams interested in acquiring their services.
Of course, nothing is set in stone yet, but as per a new update from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, it seems like Bayern are making moves to try and acquire the Englishman’s services.,
“In recent days, there has been a meeting in Munich between Max Eberl and Gordon Stipic, the top agent of Marc Guehi,” he wrote via his personal X account.
“FC Bayern are fully involved in the race, as Guéhi is set to leave Crystal Palace on a free transfer. Real Madrid and Liverpool are also in the race.
“Guéhi, alongside Nico Schlotterbeck, is currently one of Eberl‘s preferred targets, should Dayot Upamecano choose not to extend his contract or if Min-jae Kim were to be sold.”
Liverpool must throw everything they have at Marc Guehi in the summer transfer window
Even though a January move for Guehi is likely to be off the table for Liverpool, that doesn’t mean they can’t throw everything they can towards signing him in the summer.
Indeed, Upamecano could be available for Liverpool to sign, but Guehi’s Premier League experience and the fact that he wouldn’t take a non-homegrown spot in the Reds’ first-team squad would be key.
At the start of the 2025-26 season, Arne Slot had to leave Federico Chiesa out of his Champions League squad due to the Reds having too many non-homegrown players among their ranks.

And, the only reason the Italian is part of the squad now is because Giovanni Leoni tore his ACL and is ruled out for the season.
This is one of the many reasons why Liverpool need to try and sign Guehi over someone such as Upamecano, even if Upamecano has had more experience in competitions such as the Champions League.
