Usually, the international break is frowned upon by fans, but this time, the October international break couldn’t have come at a better time for Liverpool.
Several players, such as Mohamed Salah, have been miles off it and due to this, the Anfield outfit have massively struggled.
Upon their return from the international break, things need to change as soon as possible, with former Manchester United man Nicky Butt sharing what he thinks needs to happen for the Reds’ season to turn around.

The Egyptian King hasn’t managed to form a solid partnership with Alexander Isak just yet, either, despite both of them being two of the Premier League’s best players last season.
Many expected Liverpool to run away with the title, and while they still may be sitting in second place, it’s clear that some changes must be made.
And, while live on talkSPORT, Butt gave his thoughts on Liverpool and Salah and why he thinks that when Salah is back firing, things will go back to normal at Anfield.
“I think Liverpool are still a fantastic team. They’re having a bit of a blip at the minute, but it’s not a team that I would be encouraged to go and play against right now,” he said.
“They’re a fantastic team. And all that needs to happen is that Salah needs to find his game, and then it is a total different story at that club.”
Mohamed Salah needs to get back to his former self for Liverpool
Salah has undoubtedly been Liverpool’s best player over the last few years.
The vast majority of the Reds’ attacks have gone through him in one way or another, with the Egyptian King contributing to 57 goals across all competitions last term.
As mentioned, things have started slowly for the attacker this time around, but with fans knowing how much quality he can bring to the table, it’s surely only a matter of time before something clicks.
Individually, Liverpool have some of the best players in the world among their ranks, but as a team so far, nothing seems to be going their way.
However, once Salah gets into the swing of things, it doesn’t feel like Florian Wirtz and Isak will be far off.
