Liverpool have already undergone a lot of change this season.
The Reds have welcomed several new players through the Anfield doors, with most of them managing to settle in well.
Of course, some, such as Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz, are taking a little longer than Arne Slot would probably like them to, but over the next month or so, things will change.

On paper, Liverpool have one of the best teams in the world, but after missing out on Marc Guehi in the summer, it seems like they now have four new centre-back targets in mind.
Liverpool are interested in a quartet of centre-backs including Sven Botman
Now that Giovanni Leoni is expected to be out for around a year, it’s clear that Liverpool are lacking at centre-back.
Although three centre-backs should still be enough for a season, the fact that both Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate are in poor form doesn’t bode well for the future.
That is, especially if they want to try and retain their Premier League title this season.
Now, however, as per a report from talkSPORT, it seems like Slot’s men are now being linked with four new centre-backs.
The report starts off by saying that Sven Botman, who was once dubbed an “outstanding” player by Eddie Howe, Willian Pacho, Zeno Debast, and Ousmane Diomande, all scored ‘strongly’ in the Reds’ data.
However, it does ‘remain to be seen’ whether any of them will become ‘genuine targets’ over the course of the campaign.
TalkSPORT also outline that at the moment, Newcastle don’t want to sell Botman, with Pacho’s contract also running until 2029.
In terms of Debast and Diomande, the Sporting duo are of interest to the Anfield outfit, with Manchester linked with Debast while Crystal Palace made a move for Diomande in the summer.

Liverpool must figure out whether they need a new centre-back or not
At the moment, it feels like Liverpool’s weakest area is their defence.
The likes of Konate, Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong are all in a poor run of form at the moment, with one of Konate’s mistakes against Galatasaray even leading to Alisson getting injured.
The Frenchman has been miles off it this term, and although there has been the odd occasion when things have gone well for the former RB Leipzig man, more often than not this term, he’s been a liability.
If Liverpool had managed to sign Guehi in the summer, fans would have likely felt much calmer about the way that things are panning out.
However, with the club not wanting to sign him in January, it feels like they’ll have to turn their attention elsewhere, especially with the recent interest shown in the Englishman by Real Madrid.
At the moment, it’s unclear what Liverpool’s future plans are, but for now, the main thing they need to focus on is getting back to winning ways after two rather abysmal performances against Palace and Galatasaray.
