Liverpool were beaten by Chelsea on Saturday with the Anfield outfit now losing three games in a row.
The game ended 2-1 to Chelsea, with Cody Gakpo’s goal unfortunately not enough to earn Liverpool a valuable point.
Fans would’ve wanted to see a lot more from Arne Slot’s men against Chelsea, with the club now losing top spot in the Premier League.
Due to their three defeats over the last week, it was unclear how things were going to pan out at Stamford Bridge, but in reality, the Reds’ loss was a fair result.

However, there was one Liverpool player in particular who left Slot completely baffled after what he did against the Blues.
Milos Kerkez’s failed pass to Mohamed Salah left Arne Slot ‘in disgust’
Ever since he joined from Bournemouth in the summer, Milos Kerkez has been miles off the pace.
For the Cherries last season, the Hungary international was dubbed the best left back in the Premier League, with the 21-year-old even being named in the PFA’s team of the year.
And, even though there have been moments of quality shown by the defender this season, more often than not, he’s been poor.
Against Chelsea, things have been no different, with BBC Sport journalist Phil McNulty now reporting that Slot was left “in disgust” by what Kerkez did in the first half of the game.
“Too many misplaced passes for Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s liking,” he wrote.
“He has just thrown his head back in disgust when Milos Kerkez failed to find the unmarked Mohamed Salah with a perfect passing opportunity.
“A very frustrating first half hour for the Premier League champions.”
Liverpool must recoup and come back from the international break in a different mindset
As mentioned, the last week or so has been poor for Liverpool.
At the moment, it’s unclear what Slot’s plans for the team are, with players such as Ryan Gravenberch being played at centre-back.
The Dutchman continues to start Kerkez despite being visibly frustrated by him in each game he’s played.

Of course, Andy Robertson isn’t the best left-back in the world anymore either, so it’s clear to see why he’s trying to make the 21-year-old work at full-back.
However, if they continue playing like this and failing to convert chances, they’re going to be nowhere near the Premier League title, despite spending over £450million in the summer.
