Liverpool have finally confirmed the transfer of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth after what feels like a lifetime of negotiations.
The Reds have now added three new faces to their ranks in Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and now, Kerkez.
The trio will likely become starting XI players from their very first game, with each player improving upon the talent Arne Slot already has within his ranks.

Liverpool’s left-back was arguably one of the most important areas for Slot to strengthen this summer.
And even though Kerkez didn’t get as many goal contributions as he would’ve liked last term, there’s no denying that he has bags of potential and could become world-class in the near future.
Milos Kerkez has already named Liverpool as the biggest team in England
Liverpool have undergone something of a Hungarian takeover during the last few years, with Dominik Szoboszlai, Armin Pecsi, and now Kerkez all becoming a part of the Reds’ squad.
Now that Kerkez’s arrival has been officially announced, the defender has taken an interview and has already said something to get Liverpool fans on his side.
Although he’s yet to play a game for the club, you can already tell that he’s going to have a massive impact on the way things pan out.
“It’s a real honour for me to come to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, the biggest club in England,” Kerkez said to LFC TV.

What Milos Kerkez can bring to Liverpool in the 2025-26 season
Everyone knows that Kerkez is already one of the best left-backs in the Premier League despite him only being 21 years old.
The forward runs that the Hungarian makes are second to none, and defensive work is also top-notch.
Alongside both of these assets, he also has plenty of pace within, so if he does make a mistake or one of his teammates does, there’s a good chance that he will be able to catch up and rectify the problem.
Both Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson are entering the prime years of their careers, and, with the interest being shown in the Scotsman by Atletico Madrid, it’s hard to see why he’d stick around to be a backup.
| Player | Games | Goals | Assists |
| Milos Kerkez | 41 | 2 | 6 |
| Kostas Tsimikas | 29 | 0 | 2 |
| Andy Robertson | 45 | 2 | 5 |
Indeed, the turnover of players at Liverpool this season is likely to be high, so it could take some time for the team to properly gel with one another, but once they do, there’s no doubt that they’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
