Arne Slot is a man on a mission this summer, with the Dutchman already having Liverpool linked with multiple new signings.
Florian Wirtz is the biggest name linked with an Anfield switch over the last few weeks, but that doesn’t mean that other big-name players won’t also have their names thrown into the hat.
Jeremie Frimpong is another who has recently been linked with a move to the Reds, but at the moment, it’s anyone’s guess who could end up arriving.

And, seeing as though Liverpool want to keep on track and stay competitive next season, it’s not a surprise to see a handful of new links being dropped every other day.
Liverpool have entered the race for Igor Paixao
Igor Paixao is likely a name that most Liverpool fans won’t have heard of.
The Brazilian currently plies his trade for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, which is where Slot managed before joining Liverpool.
And, as per a report from Spanish outlet Sempre Barca, it seems that the Reds are one of eight teams interested in the attacker.
Liverpool, along with Barcelona, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Atalanta, Napoli, and Roma are all now ‘monitoring’ Paixao’s situation.
The report adds that a fee worth around €35-40 million (£29.3-33.5 million) would be required to prise him away from the Netherlands.
Sempre Barca also adds that while Barcelona’s scouts have ‘followed’ Paixao since the start of the season, it is not ‘clear’ whether an official bid will be made.

Arne Slot gives Liverpool an advantage in the Igor Paixao race
Evidently, Paixao is going to be hot property this summer, with the attacker even hinting at an exit from Feyenoord earlier in the season.
The attacker has been in fine form this term and has even managed to contribute to 37 goals across all competitions.
| Competition | Games | Goals | Assists |
| Eredivisie | 34 | 16 | 14 |
| Champions League | 11 | 2 | 5 |
| KNVB Cup | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| Johan Cruijff Schaal | 1 | 0 | 0 |
The Brazil international can play on either flank with ease, and his previous experience with the Liverpool manager could well play in the Reds’ favour.
While the attacker wasn’t as prolific when the Dutchman was in charge, he still managed to contribute to 16 goals and found himself as a first-team regular.
Only time will tell what the future holds, but if Liverpool do lose the likes of Luis Diaz or even Cody Gakpo to Bayern Munich, then they wouldn’t go far wrong by replacing them with Paixao.
