Liverpool took another step closer to the Premier League title, with a convincing 2-0 victory versus Manchester City.
The Reds had a number of standout performers at the Etihad, with Mohamed Salah breaking Premier League history after providing yet another goal and an assist.
Virgil van Dijk was at his usual best in the Liverpool backline, meanwhile, Ryan Gravenberch controlled the Reds midfield.
With the likes of Salah and Van Dijk likely to make headlines, one Liverpool player in particular went under the radar against the Citizens.

Dominik Szoboszlai was ‘sensational’ against Man City
Salah was the beneficiary of Liverpool’s smart set-piece goal, but Dominik Szoboszlai would be the key to getting the Reds in front.
Latching on to Alexis Mac Allister’s corner, the Hungarian would then lay it on a plate for Salah, with Jamie Carragher lauding Szoboszlai’s assist.
The Reds midfielder would then go one better and bag himself a goal of his own, firing a left-footed effort past Ederson in the City net.
Speaking after the game, Daily Mail writer Lewis Steele would describe Szoboszlai’s Etihad performance as ‘sensational’.
Szoboszlai is thriving in new Liverpool position
Arne Slot changed Liverpool’s formation against Manchester City, which saw Szoboszlai play a more forward role alongside Curtis Jones.
The Hungarian would thrive in this new position, being the key driver behind the Reds attack.
Szoboszlai however was also vital in terms of his defensive work, with his relentless pressing and positioning, helping stifle the City attack.

Szoboszlai has been criticised at times this season, but the 25-year-old’s display against Man City will no doubt help silence those critics moving forward.
