Liverpool are blessed with the goalkeeping situation they currently have.
Ben Foster believes Liverpool are in an “unbelievable situation” when it comes to the position as Arne Slot has one of the best in the world in Alisson Becker between the sticks, with Caoimhin Kelleher to back the Brazilian up, while Giorgi Mamardashvili arrives at Anfield this summer from Valencia.
With a contract at Liverpool until 2027, Alisson is unlikely to be going anywhere until at least the summer of 2026, as that would be the ideal time for the Merseyside club to get the best fee possible for the 32-year-old.
Mamardashvili is expected to take over from the Brazilian international when that time comes, which leaves Kelleher in a tricky situation.
The Ireland goalkeeper wants regular first-team football and ESPN FC pundit Shaka Hislop believes Kelleher is ready to leave Liverpool this summer.
With that in mind, here are three clubs that should be looking at the Reds shot-stopper ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window.

Newcastle
Nick Pope is currently the Newcastle number one and although the English goalkeeper has been solid throughout his time in the Premier League, the 32-year-old has run into issues over the last two seasons.
The Magpies goalkeeper has missed a large chunk of the current season with a knee injury, which followed a serious shoulder injury during the 2023/24 campaign. This has left Martin Dubravka to fill in for Pope, who looks set to leave St James’ Park this summer.
Given the Slovakian goalkeeper’s situation, in addition to the age and injury issues of Pope, Newcastle would be a great destination for Kelleher this summer.
Eddie Howe would appreciate the Liverpool star’s ability to play with the ball at his feet, as well as being a top shot-stopper.
The Irish international is also experienced at the highest level, which is exactly where Newcastle want to be in the coming years.
West Ham
West Ham started the season with Alphonse Areola as their number-one goalkeeper but the French star has fallen out of favour in recent months.
A 39-year-old Lukasz Fabianski has taken over between the stick at the London Stadium and with the Polish star’s contract with the Hammers expiring at the end of the season, Graham Potter will be looking for a new goalkeeper.
Kelleher would be a good fit for West Ham given his age as the Irishman would give the Hammers years of service.
Potter also plays an attacking style of football that requires building out from the back, a trait the Liverpool goalkeeper excels at.

Chelsea
Former Chelsea star Chris Sutton recently described Kelleher as an ‘outstanding’ player after his heroics against Real Madrid in the Champions League in which the goalkeeper denied Kylian Mbappe from the penalty spot, and the West London outfit could be interested in the Liverpool star.
Although it is unlikely, Chelsea could be a possible destination for the Ireland international this summer as the Blues are likely to move on from Robert Sanchez as the Spaniard continues to experience a tough season at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are at the level Kelleher will want to play at and the Irishman would be confident of matching their expectations.
A big reason why Chelsea might not sign the 26-year-old would be Filip Jorgensen as the Premier League giants only signed the 22-year-old ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and is likely being viewed as the future of the Blues.
Whatever happens with the future of Kelleher, the Ireland international should have options, and that is the least the goalkeeper deserves after some incredible displays in a Liverpool shirt.
