Liverpool put Ipswich Town to the sword on Saturday, securing a 4-1 win over the relegation battlers.
The Reds were heavy favourites heading into the game and didn’t waste much time in asserting their dominance.
Dominik Szoboszlai put Liverpool into the lead after just 11 minutes and the Reds never looked back at Anfield.
It was a great moment for Szoboszlai, who eased any nerves supporters may have had and set Liverpool on the way to a comfortable victory.
The goal itself wasn’t bad either. Ibrahima Konate drew praise for his part in it, but having beaten Christian Walton on his wrong foot from range, Szoboszlai deserved most of the acclaim.
And speaking after the match, Liverpool boss Arne Slot was keen to give it to him.

Arne Slot praises Dominik Szoboszlai workrate
Szoboszlai has been far better for Liverpool of late. The Hungarian had seen some question marks over his role earlier in the campaign, but is now justifying his billing.
One thing that has never been questioned about Szoboszlai is his workrate both with and without the ball.
And when asked about the 24-year-old for Sky Sports after the game, Slot was quick to highlight just how hard Szoboszlai has been working of late.
“The lead up to the goal was interesting for me to see as well because Ibou played a big part in it,” said the Liverpool head coach.
“He played the ball through the lines, great first touch. At first I thought ‘play it to Mo’, but he decided to take it for himself and scored the goal.
“Pleasing to see for him because he’s been working so, so hard for the team every single game and that he now comes off the pitch with a goal is also pleasing for him.”
Slot admits Liverpool ‘dissatisfied’ despite big win
Liverpool never looked like dropping points as soon as Szoboszlai put them into the lead on Saturday.
From then on the Reds dominated Ipswich, and perhaps should have put their foot down to score more goals.
But despite the healthy win, Slot told Sky that he and his players were a little ‘dissatisfied’ to have allowed the Tractor Boys to breach their goal.
“Unfortunately, we conceded from a set piece in the end because if we wouldn’t have done that I think it would have been a complete performance,” said the Dutchman.
“Now we are a bit dissatisfied with the goal we conceded.”
